Well Done Note

Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 12, 2026

1. Introduction

kameura ("we") protects and manages the information handled by the app "Well Done Note" (the "App") in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

We are the controller of the information processed by the App.

2. Information we collect

■ Account information - An anonymous user ID (created automatically when you first open the App; it contains no name or email address) - If you connect Google or Apple under "Backup": that account's email address, display name and account identifier

■ Your records - The type and time of each activity you record - Names of activities you create yourself - Your journey progress (distance walked, mon, collected local specialties and outfits) - Time spent with the focus timer

■ Advertising information (collected by Google AdMob) - Advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, Advertising ID on Android) - IP address, device and OS information - Ad views, taps and similar interactions

■ Stored only on your device (never sent to us) - Language, sound, vibration and focus timer settings - A focus session in progress and its scheduled notification

Your answer to "what are your days like lately?" on the first screen is used only to pre-select activities and is not stored.

3. How and why we use it

- Saving and showing your records, and moving them to a new phone (to provide the service) - Investigating and fixing bugs, preventing misuse (legitimate interests) - Showing ads so the App can stay free (personalized ads are based on consent where required)

The App does not use any usage analytics tools.

4. Third-party services and where data is stored

The App uses the following services, which process information under their own privacy policies.

- Google LLC (Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Google Sign-In, Google AdMob, User Messaging Platform) https://policies.google.com/privacy

- Apple Inc. (Sign in with Apple) https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/

Your records are stored in Google Cloud's Tokyo region. Because of how these services work, information may be processed outside your country or region (for example, in Japan or the United States).

Except where required by law, we do not share or sell your information to any other third party.

5. Advertising

The App shows Google AdMob ads at the bottom of the "Journey" and "Log" screens.

In the European Economic Area (EEA), the UK and Switzerland, you will be asked to make a choice on Google's consent screen the first time an ad is shown. You can change it at any time in Settings > About > Ad privacy settings.

On iOS, you will be asked for tracking permission the first time an ad is shown. Every feature of the App works whether or not you allow it.

You can also reset your advertising identifier or opt out of personalized ads in your device settings.

6. Retention and deletion

We keep your records until you delete them.

When you use Settings > Account > Delete records and account, your records and account are deleted immediately. If you connected Apple, we also revoke the Apple tokens. See "Account deletion" for details.

Logging out does not delete anything; your records stay in your account.

If you delete the App without connecting an account, those records are not linked to any information that identifies you, and we cannot identify them as yours.

7. Your rights

You may request access to, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your information, object to its processing, or withdraw consent. You can delete your records and account inside the App at any time. For other requests, contact us below.

If you live in the EEA or the UK, you may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

8. Children

The App is intended for people aged 13 or older (or older, if a higher age is required for consent where you live).

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when needed. We will announce important changes in the App or on this page.
